While Bhoomija turned a corner and found herself, mykidneybeans also turned a tiny corner and reached a small but significant milestone of hundred posts.

It has taken nearly three years and several phases of life where other priorities demanded my attention and writing took a back seat. It means more than anything to me that I managed to hit this milestone and I never stopped writing in spite of all the other challenges life threw at me. In fact, some of those challenges became an inspiration to write yet another story!

Appa continues to remain the biggest crowd puller of all. This of course is more a reflection on the man he was than on the writer I am. I would say he was such a powerful personality that one could write a book about him; except I already have and hope to publish it soon.

My Women With Spunk are a close second. I am humbled and awed by them all at once. Humbled by the fact that they have entrusted me with the responsibility of telling their stories to the world. Awed by the stories themselves!

I continue to dabble with function and poetry, real life often giving me more inspiration than I can handle sometimes. My recent take on a cup of coffee for example, was the result of my own musings over a cup of coffee in the morning.

With my train of thoughts running past life’s experiences at breakneck speed sometimes, each experience finds a place in different compartments of my mind, to be examined at leisure. Each significant stop turns into a flow of words for your reading pleasure. Each memory of Appa brings about yet another nostalgic walk down memory lane. Every woman whose story I tell becomes an inspiration for women all over the world.

At this point, I don’t know if I am the driver or the passenger of this fascinating train.

I do know however that the journey has been and will be the stuff legends are made of!
