My neice who has her own art blog dabbled a few months back in a Madhubani painting that depicted Radha and Lord Krishna with a cow keeping them company.

The intricate zentangle-like design really appealed to me and I began looking for inspiration to attempt a Madhubani myself.

I found it in The Buddha. I went in a different direction on the choice of paint and selected bright colours that popped on the paper.
