Sun zentangles have been a personal fascination for me and I’ve always wanted to attempt one that is themed on either the sun or the sunflower. To my delight, I found an amazing idea on Pinterest that combined both these into one beautiful zentangle.
The level of detail and the number of patterns were definitely daunting and took me a couple of months of accumulated free time to complete. But I finally penned down the last line over the weekend and was happy with the end result!
Presenting the zentangle that portrays the ancient and timeless relationship between the sun and the sunflower and how one sun eagerly raises her head on a tall stalk to meet the other sun in the sky.
